Using FinancedHub
By using FinancedHub you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Who can use it
Anyone can read the lessons. You must be at least 13 to create an account. If you're under 18, please review these terms with a parent or guardian.
Education, not advice
Everything on FinancedHub, including lessons, games, quizzes, examples and narration, is for general education only. It isn't financial, investment, tax, legal or career advice, and it doesn't take your personal situation into account. FinancedHub isn't a registered investment adviser, broker, tax preparer or law firm. Examples use simplified, made-up numbers, and real rules (like tax rates and interest rates) change over time. Talk to a qualified professional before making important money decisions.
We work hard to be accurate, but we can't promise the content is complete, current or error-free. We don't promise that using FinancedHub will improve your grades, get you into a school, get you a job, or earn or save you money.
Price
FinancedHub is free. There are no purchases, subscriptions or hidden fees, so there's nothing to refund. If we ever offer something paid, the full price and a refund policy will be shown clearly before you pay, and nothing free today will be taken away without notice.
Your account
Keep your password private and use one you don't use elsewhere. You're responsible for what happens under your account. You can delete your account at any time (see the privacy policy).
Acceptable use
- Don't try to hack, overload, scrape at scale or disrupt the site.
- Don't use the site to break the law or to harm, harass or impersonate anyone.
- Don't upload anything you don't have the right to share.
We may suspend accounts that break these rules.
Content and ownership
The lessons, games, illustrations and code on FinancedHub belong to FinancedHub unless marked otherwise. You can use them for your own learning and share links freely. Please don't republish or sell them without permission. Third-party fonts and the narration voice are used under their own open licenses, listed on our credits page. Anything you write, like your reflections, belongs to you.
No warranty and limits on liability
FinancedHub is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, FinancedHub and the people who run it aren't liable for any losses or damages from using the site or relying on its content, including financial losses from decisions you make. Some places don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Texas, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring it somewhere else.
Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top. If you keep using FinancedHub after a change, that means you accept the new terms.
