Who we are
FinancedHub is a free, independent website that teaches personal finance and business, run by Thomas Cobos in Texas, United States. For anything about your data, email thancobe@gmail.com.
Without an account
If you don't sign in, FinancedHub doesn't send anything about you to us. Your lesson progress, XP, badges, theme choice and private reflections are saved in your browser's local storage on your device. We can't see them. The cookies and storage page lists every item.
The site is hosted on GitHub Pages. Like most web hosts, GitHub may log technical details such as your IP address to keep the service secure. See GitHub's privacy statement. Our fonts and narration audio are served from our own site, so no font or audio service sees your visit.
With an account

We don't ask for your name, birthday, phone number, address, school or any real financial information. Your private reflections stay on your device unless we add an option to sync them and you turn it on.

We don't use advertising networks, analytics tools, social media pixels or data brokers. We don't sell or share your personal information.
Emails
We'll only email you about your account, such as confirming your email or resetting your password. We don't send marketing emails. If we ever do, you'll have to opt in, and every one will have an unsubscribe link.
Children
FinancedHub isn't for children under 13, and you must be 13 or older to create an account. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child under 13 has given us information, email thancobe@gmail.com and we'll delete it.
Your choices and deleting your data
Data on this device: you can erase everything FinancedHub has saved in this browser right now.
Account data: you can delete your account and all its progress yourself from your account page. You can also ask us to see, correct or delete your data at any time by emailing thancobe@gmail.com. We'll respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU), you may have extra rights under laws like the CCPA or GDPR, and we'll honor those requests.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Account data is protected by our provider's security, including encrypted connections and hashed passwords. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a password you don't use anywhere else.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top. If a change affects data we've already collected, we'll tell signed-in users before it takes effect.
